-
Why do we have to pay a publication fee for papers? Should I pay a fee for each accepted one?
The publication fee covers the costs of publishing papers in a digital library (ACM Digital Library and SBC OpenLib), as well as the assignment of a DOI. If your work has been accepted on the main track, you must pay a different fee than the other tracks. Be aware of it when you are registering for the conference.
Authors must pay a publication fee for each accepted paper, since the cost of publication is per document, not per author.
-
Will the papers be published in the event proceedings with a DOI?
Yes. Papers accepted on the main track will be published in the ACM Digital Library, while papers accepted on the other tracks will be published in the SBC OpenLib (SOL) with open access.
